Water Technology List

Developed by Defra and the Inland Revenue in partnership with EnviroWise

The aim of The Water Technology List is to encourage businesses to save money by investing in technology and products that reduce water use and improve water quality, with the added benefit of accelerated tax relief on the investment through the Enhanced Capital Allowance Scheme (ECA).

The expansion of The Water Technology List further demonstrates the Government's commitment to the scheme and to helping businesses in the UK reduce water consumption. Products listed on The Water Technology List must meet predefined water saving criteria.

Waterscan offer a range of rainwater harvesting equipment intended specifically for the collection, treatment and storage of rainwater for any of the following uses:

  • Non drinking water applications in the built environment such as toilet flushing and washing machines; with the exception of water used for drinking, personal washing (including brushing teeth), cooking, food and drink preparation, and food and drink production;
  • Process or cooling water in industry or cleaning water;
  • Irrigation, wash down or feed water in agriculture and horticulture

Please contact Waterscan to discuss how our water saving products can reduce your water consumption.
