Company history

Neil Pendle started Waterscan in 1994 and focused on helping industrial users control water supply and trade effluent charges. Since then Waterscan has expanded to provide services to the commercial, leisure, retail and local government sectors. There are 34 employees based in Chichester and around the country.

Recently, the expansion in technical services has brought opportunities to provide water industry standard technologies into the commercial sector including data logging, leakage technologies and rainwater recovery systems.

In the last year, Waterscan have successfully launched an innovative greywater system for the commercial market. A trial was granted by Premier Inn Hotel Group at Doncaster and the system was successfully commissioned in September 2007. The system is delivering 2,800 litres of clean water for toilet flushing in the whole hotel by recovering water from the showers.
